HOMEWORK
WRITE YOUR WHY.
Doesn't matter where, when, how or who. Just write it on something, anything, and keep it right in front of you. If you have trouble finding your Why, that's ok! We are going to dive deeper into our Why later, but for now, just feel it out and write what feels right, right now.
THE LIST
Today, from this point forward, whatever time of day, whatever you’re doing today, I want you to write down in your planner every single task you DO.
Tonight, just before bed, take that list and circle everything that was on it that was also on your to-do list.
Everything else, the encircled stuff, is most likely the things you enjoy doing and are great at. I cannot stress this enough, KEEP THOSE THINGS! We aren’t working on those things!
Now, on a separate piece of paper, write down all the things on your original to-do list that you didn’t do today.
We are going to either delete, delegate or automate this list.
NEXT TO EVERY TASK ON YOUR LIST, WRITE WHY.
Share this list at the end of the week with me!
DELETE
Delete any task that does not serve your deeper WHY.
DELEGATE
Put a dollar value next to each task. What would you be willing to pay someone else for that task, and how much of your valuable time (remember this is $1 a minute for argument's sake) are you willing to spend doing it?
AUTOMATE
Offers change daily, and you can find most anything for a super low price point.
Cart abandonment emails
Record your site user data (like what pages they look at, etc, then retarget them)
GDPR compliancy
Online scheduling ANYTHING
Integrates with your calendar of choice, and innately knows when you’re available or not.
Connect anything. Literally. My most recent uses:
Connect facebook ad leads to a Convert Kit sequence
Connect my SquareSpace forms to a Convert Kit sequence or form
Connect my Google Drive entries to a Trello board
Connect Stripe (Squarespace) payments to QuickBooks
